Subscription & Refund Policy

I. INTRODUCTION
This Subscription & Refund Policy (the “Subscription Policy”) governs your purchase and use of subscriptions to OnSkin mobile app (the “App”), including the terms under which refunds may be granted. By activating the App’s Premium Subscription Features using any purchase option available within the App, you agree to be bound by this Subscription Policy.
The Subscription Policy applies in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read all these documents thoroughly to ensure proper use of the App.
II. AVAILABLE SUBSCRIPTION PLANS. SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASE OPTIONS
The App offers various subscription plans that provide access to its Premium Subscription Features. Details regarding available subscription plans (i.e. pricing, the list of Premium Subscription Features, information about free trial (if available), the duration of subscription billing period) will be shown to you prior to the purchase. We reserve the right to modify, terminate, or otherwise amend our subscription plans at any time.
Depending on your location the following subscription purchase options may be made available to you:
- In-App Purchase via Apple App Store (available for all users regardless of their location). Subscriptions purchased directly within the App via Apple’s In-App Purchase mechanism are processed and managed through the Apple App Store. These subscriptions are subject to Apple’s terms and policies.
Please see Section IV. Regulations for Inn-App Purchases Made Through the Apple App Store for more information on payment processing, refund availability, cancellation, and management of subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store.
- Alternative subscription purchase option via external payment link (available only to the U.S. Apple App Store users). Users who access the App through the U.S. Apple App Store may be offered the option to purchase a subscription via an external payment link provided within the App. For detailed information on the payment procedure, refund policy, and how to manage or cancel subscriptions purchased through this method, please refer to Section V. Rules Governing Alternative Subscription Purchase Option (Outside the Apple App Store Direct Transaction System).
III. FREE TRIALS. SUBSCRIPTION AUTO-RENEWALS
Free trials (if available)
Some subscription
plans may offer a free trial, allowing you to access the App’s
Premium Subscription Features at no charge for a limited period. If
you activate a subscription with a free trial, please note that your
paid, auto-renewing subscription will begin automatically once the
trial period expires. You will be charged automatically each
subscription billing period unless you cancel your subscription in
advance.
To avoid being charged and automatically transitioned to a paid
subscription, make sure you cancel your subscription with a free
trial at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the trial
period.
Subscription auto-renewals
All subscriptions
to the App are auto renewable. This means that
during the 24-hour period before the current billing cycle for
the relevant subscription plan ends, such subscription will
automatically renew for the next billing period
(e.g., weekly, monthly, annually, or another applicable period), and
you will be charged accordingly unless you cancel your subscription
(turn off subscription auto renewal).
To avoid automatic renewal
and associated charge, make sure you cancel your subscription at
least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the current billing
period.
Turning off auto-renewal ensures that your subscription will not
be renewed for the following cycle and no further charges will be
applied.
THE FOREGOING PROVISIONS REGARDING FREE TRIALS AND SUBSCRIPTION AUTO-RENEWALS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASE OPTION YOU USE (In-App Purchase via Apple App Store or an Alternative subscription purchase option via external payment link).
IV. REGULATIONS FOR IN-APP PURCHASES MADE THROUGH THE APPLE APP STORE
With respect to subscriptions purchased directly via Apple’s In-App Purchase mechanism the following specific rules and regulations apply.
Payment methods and processing. When you acquire
the App subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system, the
cost will be billed to the payment method connected to your Apple
Account. This is the payment method you confirmed at the point of
purchase confirmation and/or subscription activation. To learn more
about the payment methods available in your country or region,
please refer to the relevant
Apple support article.
We do not have access to your credit/debit card details or
any other payment information when a subscription is purchased
through the Apple App Store's In-App Purchase mechanism. As Apple
handles and supports the processing of all payments related to App
subscriptions purchased on the Apple App Store, you hereby agree to
comply with all applicable Apple instructions, terms and conditions
related to In-App Purchase purchase system and corresponding payment
processing.
Subscription cancellation. To turn off subscription auto renewal, follow the relevant instructions from this Apple support article. To avoid being automatically charged, cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the free trial or the current subscription billing period.
Refund issues. If you are eligible for a refund, you must request it directly through Apple. Refunds for such purchases can only be processed by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, please follow the relevant instructions provided in this Apple support article.
Please bear in mind that we are unable to issue refunds or access any payment information for transactions made through the Apple App Store. All refund decisions and processing are handled solely by Apple.
V. RULES GOVERNING ALTERNATIVE SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASE OPTION (OUTSIDE THE APPLE APP STORE DIRECT TRANSACTION SYSTEM)
If you access the App through the U.S. Apple App Store and choose to purchase subscription using an alternative method by following the external payment link provided within the App at the subscription purchase stage, the specific terms and conditions outlined below will apply.
Payment methods and processing. All subscription
transactions initiated via the external payment links are processed
by Stripe, Inc. and/or its affiliates, acting as the payment
processor . Available payment method for Stripe transactions (e.g.
Apple Pay) will be displayed at the time you finalize your
subscription purchase.
By choosing this alternative
subscription purchase option, you agree that Stripe will manage the
entire subscription payment process in accordance with its
then-current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We strongly
encourage you to review these documents before proceeding.
Your payment information (such as credit card details) provided via the external payment link is securely handled and processed by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
Subscription cancellation. In case you purchased a
subscription via the external payment link (as described in this
section), you won’t be able to control it through your Apple Account
settings. Instead, you’ll be able to manage your subscription and
cancel its auto-renewal directly through the Settings within the
App. You do not need to be signed in to the App in order to access
the cancellation option.
Clear instructions on how to manage
and cancel your subscription will be provided within the App’s
Settings menu.
If you have lost access to your device or the App, you can locate our merchant listing in Apple Wallet and follow the Merchant Management URL. This link will open a web page displaying your currently active subscription, with the option to cancel it.
If you experience any issues while attempting to cancel your subscription through the App or Apple Wallet, please contact us by submitting a request via our contact form.
Billing queries and refund issues.
Please
note that Apple is not responsible for any refunds related to
subscriptions purchased via external payment links.
For App subscriptions purchased via external payment links and processed by Stripe, our refund policy is as follows.
Eligibility for Refunds. As a general rule, we do not provide refunds for App subscriptions you purchased via external payment links unless your right to a refund is clearly and imperatively prescribed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
Refund exceptions and limitations. Before submitting a refund request, please ensure that your case does not fall within one of the exceptions or limitations specified below. In particular, refunds are not guaranteed and may be denied in any of the following circumstances:
- Change of mind or personal reasons. If you request a refund simply because you changed your mind about subscription purchase or due to other personal reasons - unless the laws applicable in your jurisdiction provide you with the right to withdraw from the purchase for any or no reason within a clearly established grace period.
- Violation of our Terms of Use or unauthorized use. If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you use the App in violation of our Terms of Use, or if your use of the App Account is unauthorized.
- Late refund request. If you submit a refund request after the relevant subscription billing period has expired/ended.

For monthly and longer-term subscription billing periods.
If you request a refund later than fourteen (14) days since you
initially purchased a subscription or since your subscription
renewal for a new subscription billing period.
For weekly subscription billing periods. In case your request is later than seven (7) days since your initial purchase of subscription or since your subscription renewal for a new subscription billing period. - Fraudulent or baseless requests. If we have reasonable grounds to believe based on the relevant evidence that your refund request is fraudulent and/or has no legal grounds. For example, we may deny your request if we detect that you actively used the App after the purchase of a subscription, and there is no relevant evidence and confirmation that you experienced malfunctions, critical or major bugs using the App.
All of the above Refund exceptions and limitations shall be applied without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including rights of withdrawal or statutory refund entitlements.
Refund Scope. If your refund request is approved, the refund will be issued only with respect to the subscription billing period in which the refund request was properly submitted. Refunds will not be issued retroactively for past billing periods.
How to submit refund requests. All refund requests for subscriptions purchased via external payment links must be submitted through our contact form.
To help us process your refund request quickly and efficiently, you may be required to provide the following information:
- Full name,
- Email address used for the purchase (if applicable),
- Transaction details (date and amount),
- Last four digits of the payment card used,
- Proof of purchase (screenshot of the transaction/receipt),
- A detailed explanation why you are requesting a refund.
After receiving your refund request we may ask you to provide additional information, such as further details about your subscription purchase and/or the relevant documentation, other evidence that supports your request and the right to receive a refund. After we receive all information necessary to proceed with your request, we will review it carefully and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within a reasonable period of time.
If a refund is granted, it will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase of subscription via Stripe. Note that once your refund request is approved, it may take some time for the refund to be processed and for the funds to be returned to your account. The processing time may vary depending on your financial institution and the applicable payment method.
Disclaimer Regarding Apple
For App subscriptions purchased via external payment links (i.e., not through Apple's In-App Purchase system), Apple Inc. is not responsible for any aspect of those subscriptions. This includes, but is not limited to, the purchase process, payment processing, subscription management, renewals, cancellations, or refunds. All requests and issues related to such subscriptions must be directed solely to us via our contact form.
VI. CHANGES TO SUBSCRIPTION POLICY
We reserve the right to modify or update this Subscription Policy at any time. Any changes shall be effective immediately upon posting the revised version on this webpage. It is your sole responsibility to review this Subscription Policy periodically to stay informed of updates.
